Centered on Ola Rondiak’s extraordinary artwork—deeply inspired by her grandmother’s harrowing survival of 13 years in a Soviet extermination camp after WWII—Bone & Thread illuminates the lasting impact of war and displacement on identity and belonging, emphasizing the urgent need to confront these histories.

The Seeds of an Uncertain Land follows a group of young dedicated Puerto Rican farmers in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. As they return to their decimated ancestral lands and are faced with the monumental task of rebuilding their farms, they use science and indigenous knowledge to bring food security to their communities. With dirt under their nails and love for their island, they’ve vowed to never to see another person go hungry again.
